Accomodations & Stay
The holiday home Bergvagabund is suitable for up to 12 people.
The holiday flat Zirbenblüte is suitable for up to 4 people maximum.
This number represents the number of available beds and the maximum number of persons for an accommodation. For security reasons, it is not possible to accept more people in the accommodation than indicated.
A laundry package consisting of bed linen and towels is included in the booking price. The beds are accordingly covered on arrival and the towels prepared.
On arrival you will find a starter set in the holiday properties, which contains the described equipment and sufficient cutlery and crockery, dishwashing liquid, mop, dishcloths, soap, 1 household roll, 3 dishwasher tabs, hoover, bin liner and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and toilet as initial equipment. For the rest of your stay please take care of yourself.
On the website of the respective holiday accommodation, you will find all the essential information about your booked accommodation under the respective menu item “Accommodation”. Also have a look at the floor plan and pictures of your accommodation.
In both accommodations there is a filter coffee machine and a fully automatic coffee machine as well as a kettle available.
Our holiday homes are equipped with free wireless network and you will receive the code on site. The use of Wifi only includes legal use. Illegal use can lead to possible criminal or copyright consequences on your part.
We offer the holiday properties with free barbecue facilities. The holiday home Bergvagabund and the holiday flat Zirbenblute have each a gas barbecue including gas bottle. After use, cleaning must be carried out by the tenant or a cleaning flat rate of 20 € must be booked.
For an extra charge, we can make the properties barrier-free and handicapped accessible. For example, the bathrooms are adapted, and the holiday homes are wheelchair accessible via a ramp. The service package can be booked on the website and can also be booked at any time on site.

You can book an additional baby package (for children up to 36 months) independently of the holiday property.
Baby cot, bed linen, Baby highchair. Baby dishes / cutlery, night Light plug, cherry pit cushion or hot water bottle, Toilet seat for children, Potty, optional microwave oven is included in our toddler package. We will be happy to provide you with this free of charge.
Of course, all utensils are cleaned and disinfected before each new arrival to maintain hygienic requirements.
When booking online, you can add the package free of charge under Extras in the reservation process. Of course, you can also pass on your wishes to us by telephone or email or enquire on site.
Pets are unfortunately not allowed.
Both accommodations are non-smoking in the inner areas. Smoking is only allowed outside.
Our gardens in the respective holiday properties can be used and, depending on the season, you can also eat.
The gardens are maintained if necessary. This means that the lawn may be mowed during your holiday.

Check-in / check-out & Stay
Currently, there are no restrictions on accommodation with regard to Corona.
No more updates from us. Please check the website of the Schoenau Tourist Office for more information on the subject if required.
You will receive the key until 8pm at the personal check-in. Please inform us about your arrival half an hour before arrival. If you arrive later, please contact us before 20 o’clock on the day of arrival. You will then receive all information from us regarding a possible late arrival. Check-in will be made up the next day.
Your check-in is possible from 3pm. If your holiday home or flat is not booked in advance, it is possible to arrive earlier by prior arrangement. Departure is possible until 10:00 am at the latest. On arrival, please arrange an acceptance date (subject to availability) with us. Afterwards the deposit will be processed, and the keys handed over with you.
Depending on availability and prior arrangement, you are welcome to leave later, if necessary, at an extra charge.
At your Zirbenblüte holiday accommodation, there is a free parking space for one car directly in front of the garden gate.
At your holiday accommodation Bergvagabund up to 5 parking spaces are available free of charge on the property.
We do not have a permanently manned reception desk, but we are available as your personal contact person on site.
We are available for you by telephone from 08:30 to 18:30 and by email at any time and will get back to you as soon as possible.
Despite the care and efforts, we take technical defects in the equipment or unintentional damage on your part can unfortunately also occur on site. Please contact us directly and as soon as possible so that we can find a quick and joint solution.
We have house rules for our guests in the respective holiday home. In the municipality of Schoenau am Koenigssee apply all-day sunday and public holiday are in general rest perios, there is a night’s rest from 10 pm til 6 am and a midday rest from 1 pm til 3 pm. We ask you to consider the rest periods!

When booking and paying your invoice, you accept our terms and conditions.
Included in the accommodation booking price of the respective holiday property:
- Rental price for the respective holiday property depending on the length of stay and number of people
- The respective equipment and services included as described on the website
- Incidental costs such as electricity, gas, water and heating with normal consumption
- Final cleaning
- Statutory VAT
Not included in the property booking price:
- The cash deposit as security deposit
- Local tourist tax
- Additional costs for other optional service packages that can be booked directly on the website or on site
As a state-approved health resort, the municipality of Schoenau am Koenigssee charges a tourist tax. This must be paid separately when you arrive at your stay and you will receive a guest card with various benefits. You can find the amount on your invoice.
The tax amount is to be paid per person and per day.
3.10 euros for adults and youths from 17 years of age

Children up to 6 years of age as well as severely disabled persons with a disability of 100 per cent and all accompanying persons (registered with “B” in the identity card) are still exempt from the spa fee.
At check-in you have to pay a cash deposit of
€ 350,00 for the holiday home Bergvagabund
or € 200,00 for the holiday home Zirbenbluete.
At check-out this will be paid out after a joint inspection of the respective holiday home or if necessary then it will used for clearing your invoice for additional services booked with us.
Booking & Payment
If you book a stay with us, we must ask you for certain details. Your data is also collected on other occasions, such as requests for information, price enquiries and visits to our website. For this purpose, we occasionally work together with third parties who collect various data and process them on our behalf. This happens, for example, with the newsletter.

Depending on the season, a minimum stay of 3 – 7 days may apply.
Yes, you can book by the day and arrive daily, provided the desired booking period is available. Only in the summer months there may be restrictions in this respect. However, it is not possible to book stays of one or two nights online. Please contact us for your request.
You will find the terms of payment and our bank details in your booking confirmation and invoice. A prepayment of 30% of the price of the holiday is payable within 5 days after receiving the invoice of booking via our website. The balance must be paid 30 days before arrival. Otherwise, there is no claim of reservation according to our terms and conditions.
In some cases, we ask you for the whole invoice amount payment due to a late reservation (last minute) under 30 days of your arrival. You will be informed about this in the contract or in the confirmation by e-mail. By booking via external booking sites, you will be informed by them.
You can book some of the services such as the hiking package together with your holiday home online on our website. Please have a look on our website to see which services are offered to you. The services offered can also be booked conveniently on site. Any additional services used will be charged to your property rental deposit on departure.
If you have paid by bank transfer, you will not receive a confirmation of payment.
If you pay via PayPal, you will receive a payment confirmation by e-mail.
Within five days after booking, you will receive a confirmation of your booking by email including the invoice. Please check this for correctness after receipt. If there are any errors, please indicate them directly by email or contact us by phone.
You will receive a reservation confirmation including invoice by email after online booking. If you have lost this confirmation, please contact us by email or telephone. The reservation confirmation will then be sent to you again by email. You should keep it in a safe place and then present it in printed form on your arrival. In addition, you will receive the essential information by emmail 1 week before your arrival.
Changes & Cancellation

It is possible to extend your booking at any time, provided the holiday properties are available. We are at your disposal for any further questions.
Please send us your cancellation in text form. The costs of a cancellation are calculated according to the time before the booked start of the holiday. The tenant is entitled to cancel the contract at any time. If the tenant terminates (cancels) the contract without giving us good cause, we are entitled to compensation as followed:
- up to 2 months before the day of arrival no cancellation fees
- up to 1 month before the day of arrival 50% of the agreed price
- up to 2 weeks before the day of arrival 90% of the agreed price
- in case of no arrival 100% of the agreed price
