Holiday home Bergvagabund

We wanted a two week holiday with our three (adult) kids and their partners (that had to travel in from various parts of Europe) and this house was perfect. It has five proper double bedrooms and two very nice bathrooms. The kitchen is great and equiped with plenty of crockery, cuttlery, utensils, boards, dishes and cookware (including big pots and pans), plus several really useful appliances (coffee machine(s), toaster, sandwitch toaster, puree wand and more). There is plenty of dining space for all, both inside and outside. The lounge works OK and the telly is great. You can sign into your Netflix or other acounts easily. We enjoyed the Rugby World Cup and got really loud when the Aussies played (unfortunately not very well). The house has a cool little games room, accessible from the upstairs balcony, with lots of toys and games including a kicker. Clothes washer and dryer are located in the basement and work just fine. There is a single garage (with a roll out table tennis table) in which we could park our bicycles, and the front yard/driveway has parking for up to four cars. The back yard and garden is beautiful and really well kept, and has several sun lounges. The views from the balcony to the surrounding mountains are brilliant.

The house is in a great location with a play park across the road, a lovely baker, a chemist, and a bus stop for the local bus service just a few minutes walk away. The walk to the Königsee is about 15 minutes.

Andrea (the host) is a very freindly and lovely lady who helps with advice and tips as needed. You just need to ask.
