Current
In Berchtesgadener Land, holiday apartments and holiday homes are allowed to accommodate guests in compliance with the 2G regulation (vaccinated or recovered).
2G – What applies to children?
Children up to 12 years and 3 months are admitted to 2G without vaccination. Unvaccinated 12-17-year-olds who regularly test negative at school have transitional access to 2G until the end of December for sporting, musical or acting activities, in restaurants and hotels. A student ID card serves as proof.
If the 7-day incidence of 1,000 is exceeded, there is a regional hotspot lockdown with the following measures:
- All accommodation establishments (hotels, guesthouses, holiday apartments and campsites) and restaurants are closed.
- All facilities that were previously subject to access restrictions according to 2G plus / 2G / 3G plus / 3G are closed.
- There are no leisure, cultural or sporting events.
- All excursion destinations are closed.
The hotspot lockdown applies in a district until the incidence value is below the incidence limit of 1,000 for five consecutive days.
